How do I know what size to order?
Order your VelCon Device based on the height of the player that is using it:
Small-For players up to 5’8”
Medium-For players from 5’9” to 6’3”
Large-For players over 6’3”
Is the ball hard and does it hurt when using the device?
The ball is made of soft sponge and even though it makes a solid impact on the elbow area, it does not hurt at all.
What if I don't like the product and want to return it?
You have a 30-day guarantee: If for some reason you aren’t satisfied with the training device, send it back undamaged for a full price refund minus shipping & handling.
The cord appears to be too short and is not hitting my glove-side elbow….what should I do?
Loosen the cord fastener by turning the dome counter clockwise. Then easily pull the cord to the desired length. The correct length of the cord is established when the ball hits your glove side elbow. If the cord hits beyond the glove side elbow the cord may be too long.
Can the VelCon Trainer be used as part of the UCL or rotator cuff rehab process?
Yes. It is the ultimate rehab tool. Since the device requires you to eliminate the throwing arm, you can work on your muscle memory and build a solid kinetic linkage while you recover from surgery. You want to perform as many repetitions as you can before your physician allows you to start your throwing program. The majority of throwing injuries are from bad throwing/pitching technique. The VelCon Trainer will help strengthen the weak or missing links in the kinetic chain, therefore, speeding up your recovery and reducing the risk of injury.
Are there team discounts or discounts for larger quantity orders?
